נִסְגַּר מַעֲגָל חוֹלֵם הוֹפֵךְ לְעֵר

בְּקֵץ דַּרְכֵי בַּזֶּלֶת לִבְּךָ לֹא יִשָּׁבֵר

אֲסוּפַת כְּזָבֵנוּ הִתְפַּזְּרָה עִם הָרוּחַ

וְעַל מָה שֶׁלֹּא הָיִינוּ אַתָּה תַּמְשִׁיךְ וּתְשׁוֹרֵר

הַיּוֹם אַתָּה רַשַּׁאי לְהַזְכִּירֵנִי בְּרַבִּים

מְחֻסֶּנֶת דֶּמַע גַּם מוּל תֹּפֶת הַמִּילִים

צַלַּחְנוֹ נְהָרוֹת גּוֹעֲשִׁי חַיִּים שְׁלֵמִים

חֲזָקִים מִכָּל בְּדִידוּת אָז אָחַזְנוּ בְּשִׁירִים

וְעָבַרְתָּ בְּחַי כְּמוֹ הֵלֶךְ זָר, כְּצֵל חוֹלֵף

וְהָיִית לֹא הָיִיתָ וְנָעָם לִי הַכְּאֵב

וְזָרַעַתְּ בִּי חֲלוֹם וְנָבַט בִּי קוֹל. אֱמֶת

הֶעֱמַדְתִּי פְּנֵי חַיָּה, כְּשֶׁלִּבִּי הָיָה כְּבָר מֵת

עַכְשָׁיו אַתָּה יָכוֹל כְּבָר לְהַמְשִׁיךְ לְהִתְהַדֵּר

פָּשַׂתְנוּ כְּסוּת בּוּשָׁה וָחָשַׂפְנוּ כָּל הֶסְתֵּר

לֵיל שֶׁבֶת, נֵרוֹת שֶׁל קֹדֶשׁ,חֲרִישִׁית תְּפִלָּה

עֲבוּרִי אַתָּה הָיִיתָ הַמֻּכָּר וְהָאַחֵר

וְעָבַרְתָּ בְּחַי כְּמוֹ הֵלֶךְ זָר, כְּצֵל חוֹלֵף

וְהָיִית לֹא הָיִיתָ וְנָעָם לִי הַכְּאֵב

וְזָרַעַתְּ בִּי חֲלוֹם וְנָבַט בִּי כָּל אֱמֶת

וְהֶעֱמַדְתִּי פְּנֵי חַיָּה, כְּשֶׁלִּבִּי הָיָה כְּבָר מֵת
