Zacardi Cortez
Born in Houston, Texas, on September 17, 1985, Zacardi Cortez made a name for
himself in the contemporary gospel world with his debut album, The Introduction,
released in 2012. A disciple of pastor and singer John P. Kee, whom he considers
his mentor, he began touring under his wing and began to make a name for
himself, before joining James Fortune's group FIYA in 2007 and going solo. In
2012, his debut album The Introduction proved a success, not only in the gospel
arena where it landed at #2 on the charts, but also generally with a #8 on the
R&B charts and a #73 on the Billboar...
