The Greeting Committee is a four-piece indie pop band from Kansas City,
Missouri. Formed in 2014 by high school classmates Addison Sartino (vocals),
Brandon Yangmi (guitar), Pierce Turcotte (bass), and Austin Fraser (drums), they
made their live debut at a talent show in 2014. The following year, they
independently released their debut EP It’s Not All That Bad, which caught the
attention of local radio host Lazlo Geiger through its lead single “Hands Down.”
