Subway to Sally
Subway to Sally is a band from Germany that was founded in 1992. In the early
years, the music was strongly influenced by folk music. Later, metal influences
were added. On the first album Subway to Sally (1993), the band sings its songs
in German and English. Only on later albums such as MCMXCV (1995) or Bannkreis
(1997) are Latin and Gaelic lyrics added. On the album Engelskrieger (2003,
number 9 in the German charts), electronic sounds dominate for the first time.
Subway to Sally now sing almost exclusively in German. The band presents its new
style on the longplayer Nord Nord...
