Singer, songwriter, and musician Shelby Flint – born in North Hollywood, California on September 17, 1939 – is best known for a pair of hit singles in the 1960s – “Angel on My Shoulder” (1961) and “Cast Your Fate to the Wind” (1966) – as well as providing vocals for several hits from television and motion picture soundtracks. Signed by songwriter and publisher Barry De Vorzen to the Cadence Records label, she released her first single, “I Will Love You,” in 1958. The single was not a hit, and she did not release another single until she signed do De Vorzon’s Valiant Records label...
