Singer/songwriter, DJ, and record producer SG Lewis was born Samuel George Lewis on July 9, 1994 in Reading, England. Though he started his musical education playing in various rock bands as a teenager, he developed an interest in dance music. He started toying with other people’s songs, and eventually established himself during a stint as a resident DJ at the Chibuku Club in London.
