Sertab Erener
Born in Istanbul, Turkey on December 4, 1964, Sertab Erener is a singer and
songwriter best known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 with
“Everyway That I Can.” She became interested in opera and studied at the
Istanbul University State Conservatory before continuing at Mimar Sinan Fine
Arts University. Discovered and promoted by Turkish pop star Sezen Aksu, Sertab
Erener released her debut album, Sakin Ol!, in 1992, which was followed by Lâ'l
