The Dutch DJ and producer known as San Holo was born Sander van Dijck in Zoetemeer in 1990. He studied production techniques and studio craft at Cadarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam and after leaving university began to work as a guitar teacher before eventually beginning to make a name for himself as a producer by 'ghosting' for other DJs.
