Rod Argent

Rock music
Just after the breakup of the Zombies, a popular '60s band, singer-organist Rod Argent founded the namesake group Argent. Rod and guitarist Russ Ballard's catchy melodies and complex arrangements brought them international recognition. After a notorious slump, they quit in 1976. Rod reappeared in 1978 with the album Moving Home (featuring Phil Collins and Gary Moore).
