Born to Jamaican parents in Brooklyn, New York City on August 1, 1974, Roger McNair aka US rapper Rampage has rolled with his cousin Busta Rhymes since the mid-1990s. McNair made his recording debut in 1992 with the single "Beware of the Rampsack", created with producer Dallas Austin for Rowdy / Arista Records, and in 1994 recorded "Flava in Ya Ear In (Remix") featuring an all-star rap lineup of Craig Mack, Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes.
