Signed to BMG Ariola ahead of her first release, Argentinian singer-songwriter
and guitarist Marcela Morelo (born on December 13th, 1969 in Lanús) was teed up
for stardom from the outset of her career. The Spanish-language hitmaker shifted
over 100,000 copies of her 1997 debut album, Manantial, which also included
international chart smashes in the form of the singles “La fuerza del engaño”
