Socrate Petteng (April 23, 1979) is a French rapper of Cameroonian descent that goes by the name Mac Tyer. Born in Aubervilliers, Île-de-France, he first jumped into the spotlight as one half of the duo Tandem with Mac Kregor, finding success in the underground hip-hop scene with releases such as Ceux Qui le Savent M'Écoutent (2001), Tandematique Modèle Vol.1 (2004), and C'est Toujours Pour Ceux qui Savent (2005).
