Laganja Estranja is the stage name and musical alias of drag queen Jay Jackson.
Born in Dallas, Texas, on December 28, 1988, Jackson made his drag debut as
Laganja Estranja in November 2011 and auditioned for the sixth season of
RuPaul's Drag Race two years later. Although eliminated halfway through the
television show's run, Laganja Estranja's dramatic mannerisms and
larger-than-life demeanor made her a household name amongst drag fans, and she
made her musical debut by rapping on three singles — Kraxx's "Got Beat,"
