King Sunny Adé is a Nigerian superstar singer-songwriter in the Yoruba tongue
whose infectious blend of traditional African rhythms, western guitar pop and
electric rock and roll - known as juju music - has won him an international
audience. Celebrated as an ambassador for his homeland's culture and music, he
teaches and is involved in the nation's music industry with a large organisation
involved in clubs and recordings.
