J-Pop and folk singer, songwriter, and musician Hitomi Yaida - also known as
Yaiko - was born in Toyonaka, Japan on July 28, 1978. She made her debut with
the independent single “Howling” (2000), which became a surprise hit and
attracted the attention of major labels. Signing with Toshiba-EMI, she released
the single "B'Coz I Love You," which reached Number 16 on the singles chart in
2000. Hitomi Yaida released her debut album, Daiya-monde, in 2000. She followed
that up with the albums Candlize (2001), I/flancy (2002), Air/Cook/Sky (2003),
Here Today - Gone Tomorrow (2005), It's ...
