By blending indie-pop melodies with dance tempos, electronics, and experimental
sounds, half•alive became a Top 10 success on Billboard's Alternative Airplay
chart during the late 2010s. The group formed in 2016 in Long Beach, California,
where lead singer Josh Taylor had previously performed with The Moderates.
