Giorgia
An immensely popular singer, Giorgia Todrani, known simply as Giorgia, was born
April 26, 1971 in Rome. She began performing in jazz clubs as a teenager and
developed a vocal style steeped in soul as well as an impressive multi-octave
range. Her grand debut came at the 1994 Sanremo Music Festival where she
performed the song “E Poi”, which would go on to be her debut single and hit
Number 2 in Italy. Her self-titled 1994 debut LP also hit Number 2 on the album
