Tackling contentious subjects like date rape, street violence and depression,
Gallows made their mark during the late 2000s as one of Britain's angriest
bands, adopting hardcore intensity and uncompromising punk values. Strongly
influenced by 1980s bands Black Flag and Minor Threat, they were formed by
guitarist Laurent Barnard after the split of his previous band My Dad Joe.
Signed by Nottingham label In At The Deep, they released their first album
Orchestra Of Wolves in 2006 on a shoestring budget and excited interest in
