G.V. Prakash Kumar – born in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India on June 13, 1987 – is a composer, producer, singer, and actor. He’s best known for his work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born into a musical family – his mother is playback singer A. R. Reihana and his uncle is composer A. R. Rahman - G.V. Prakash Kumar made his debut as a playback vocalist, singing one of his uncle’s compositions in the 1993 film Gentleman. He continued to work as a vocalist for his uncle and other film projects - including Anniyan (2005) and Unnale Unnale (2007) - but didn’t make his debut as a film composer...
