Born in the Bronx, New York, on August 19, 1970, Joseph Antonio Cartagena, aka
Fat Joe, had a difficult childhood. Thanks to his brother, who introduced him to
hip-hop, he found a way out. Initially a member of the Diggin' in the Crates
