Erlend Oye is half of Norwegian pop duo Kings of Convenience. He broke away to record his solo album Unrest in 2003. An unrepentant traveler, Erlend Oye recorded Unrest while on the road in a dozen cities. The encounters he makes give rise to an electro-oriented album. In 2004, Erlend Oye produced an album for the legendary DJ-Kicks series. Erlend Oye also formed the group The Whitest Boy Alive.
