Edgar Joel
Edgar Joel, born on August 30, 1961, in Philadelphia to a Puerto Rican family,
is a celebrated salsa musician, trombonist, and bandleader known for his
romantic style. His passion for music began in high school, where he formed
groups for local events before establishing Edgar Joel y Su Orquesta. With
Anthony Colón as lead vocalist, the band gained recognition with their debut
hit, a cover of "Hasta El Sol De Hoy," which reached Number 11 on Billboard’s
