When Harris Glenn Milstead began his acting and performing career in the late
1960s, the world had never before seen anything akin to his Divine persona.
Milstead had risen to fame through his association with film-maker John Waters
who, along with his troupe of actors known as the Dreamlanders had made a number
of cult films. Milstead had played several leading roles in Water's films but it
was the cult classic 'Pink Flamingos' which really launched his career as an
