Performer of the classic "Lookout Weekend", singer Debbie Deb was born Deborah
Claire Wesoff-Kowalski in New York on March 10, 1966. Born in Brooklyn, she grew
up in Miami Beach, Florida, where she met composer and producer Tony "Pretty
Tony" Butler at the age of sixteen, while working in a record store. Her first
single, "When I Hear Music", was a hit at No. 43 in the Black Singles (R&B)
charts in 1984. The electro-freestyle track was followed the same year by
