Real name Davide Bernasconi, Italian folk and rock singer Davide Van De Sfroos
was born in Monza, Lombardy, on May 11, 1965. He made his debut with the
punk-inspired band Potage, before contributing to the 1986 album A Gap in a
Learning by the pop-rock group Kony Dance, and forming, with bassist Alessandro
Frode, the group De Sfroos, active from 1990 to 1998 and authors of three
albums, one of which was recorded live. In 1997, he published his first book,
Perdonato dalle lucertole, which won the Tenco prize, before launching his solo
