R&B singer, songwriter, and rapper DaniLeigh was born Danielle Leigh Curiel in
Miami, Florida on December 20, 1994. While working as a back-up dancer, she
began posting her own versions of popular songs on social media before deciding
to pursue her career on the West Coast and relocated to Los Angeles, California.
Her first big break came in 2013 when she directed the video for “Breakfast Can
Wait” by R&B, funk, and soul icon Prince. Mentored by the man himself, she
