Throughout her short-lived career, American R&B vocalist Chantay Savage (July 16, 1971) became a mainstay on the US charts in the early to mid-90s. Before launching herself as a successful solo artist, the Chicago native spent her days working as a session musician and penning songs for other artists, most notably CeCe Peniston’s 1992 hit single “We Got a Love Thang.” “If You Believe,” her debut single, arrived in 1993 and was quickly followed by the release of studio album Here We Go…, released in June of that year. The LP peaked at Number 89 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album...
