Catherine Ringer was born in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine) on October 18, 1957. A veritable diva of French rock, the singer with her expansive timbre instilled her touch of madness in the Rita Mitsouko duo, in the company of guitarist Fred Chichin. A year after the death of her partner (in November 2007), she reworked the repertoire in his name for a live tribute album(Chante Les Rita Mitsouko and More at La Cigale, 2008).
