Built on blasts of boisterous punk and soaring, heart-on-sleeve emotion, New York four-piece Bayside have been favourites in the underground, alternative rock world since they emerged out of the US emo scene in 2000. Led by frontman Anthony Raneri, they were a gang of Green Day and New Found Glory fans moshing around in dingy clubs when they first got together, and named themselves after a railway station in Long Island that they happened to be driving past.
