Bakar is a London-based musician who grew up in Camden Town, an area rich in
musical heritage and diversity. He was born as "Abubakar Baker Shariff-Farr" on
February 12, 1994, and developed a musical appreciation for everyone from the
American DJ Otis Jackson Jr. (better known as Madlib) to the British rock band
Foals. Initially, by remixing samples from bands such as Bombay Bicycle Club and
