Country music singer and songwriter Ashley Cooke was born in Parkland, Florida
on June 12, 1997. Her family moved more than a dozen times during her first 18
years, and she discovered music was a way to deal with the constant upheavals in
her life. Inspired by Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, and Rascal Flatts, she began
writing songs at the age of 11. When she was 18, she moved to Nashville,
