Born in Tehran, Iran, on April 23, 1977, Arash Labaf is best-known as Sweden-based singer and producer Arash. Along with Aysel Teymurzadeh, he represented Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 - their song, “Always”, finished third. Arash’s career began in 2004 with the hit single “Boro Boro”, followed the next year by his debut album Arash. The album, which hit Number 17 on the Swedish charts, featured more hit singles including “Tike Tike Kardi”, and “Temptation” (featuring Rebecca), both of which reached Number 2 on the Swedish singles chart.
