AJ Lee & Blue Summit
Contemporary bluegrass band from California, AJ Lee & Blue Summit formed in
Santa Cruz in 2015. The band, marked by the personality of singer and
mandolinist AJ Lee, then consisted of Sullivan Tuttle (guitar, vocals), Chad
Bowen (double bass), Jan Purat (fiddle) and Jesse Fishman (guitar), replaced
after two albums by Scott Gates. The group of young musicians drawn to bluegrass
music made their own mark, setting up their own label under which the album Like
I Used To was released in 2019. After scouring the region's clubs, the band
plays with Sullivan's sister Molly Tuttle's club...
